Performance at Chavez Community Center, Santa Fe, NM

Desert Ice is pleased to announce an exhibition event for its Colorado Spring Invitational (CSI) competitors. The exhibition will be at the Geneoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) Friday, August 28, 2009 from 7:15 - 8:45. The cost will be $10 for each full ice event and $5 for each half ice event.

If you are participating, please contact Darcy ASAP with the events you would like your skater to perform so we can complete the schedule. At this point, we expect to be able to accommodate at least 2 events per skater. When you sign up, please indicate all of the events you would like to perform for the exhibition and we'll schedule as many as time permits!

Hello DIFSC Members,

The club will be having an exhibition for the members that will be competing in the Broadmoor Open. The exhibition will be Friday, June 12th 2-4pm at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center in Santa Fe.

If your skater will be participating please email no later then June 10th.

Each skater will be guaranteed to exhibit 2 events. We will schedule more if time permits.

We are preparing for our last Scorpions Intermission of the 2008-2009 Season!

Here is some information you will need to know:

Date and Time of Performance:

Saturday, March 14 ~ Game starts at 7:05

Our performance will be during the 1st intermission

A detailed itinerary will be sent out closer to the event

• 2/16 (Monday) 6:30-7:00
• 2/23 (Monday) 6:30-7:00
• 2/24 (Tuesday) 6:30-7:00
• 2/25 (Wednesday) 5:00-5:30
• 3/2 (Monday) 6:30-7:00
• 3/5 (Thursday) 6:30-7:00
• 3/14 (Saturday) 1:30-2:30

There are 6 full practices and 1 warm-up/final practice day of event. If needed we will do an off-ice practice the week of March 9th...more information to follow.

Must attend at least 4 practice sessions, we strongly encourage your skater to attend all of the practice sessions.

Fees:

$30 per skater (less than $5/per session)...this includes all on and off-ice coaches fees.

Attire

Here is the information about the outfits for the Scorpions Intermission:

• Shorts: from Justice, any color is fine (see here).
• Top: White Shirt from wherever you want. Put it in a bag with your skaters name on it and give it to Lisa (Amanda's Mom). We are going to have this put on them DIFSC
  Parents can also get them put on a shirt as well –make sure they are in the bag for Lisa. Also please let us know how many you are planning to get done –each skater will need one so just let me know how many for other family members (this way we can figure out cost – the more we have done the cheaper it is).

• 3) Tube Socks: white with strips (any color strip is fine) (see here).
