Originally established in 1988, the Desert Ice Figure Skating Club (DIFSC) DIFSC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our membership is diverse, with members as young as seven through adult. Our members compete from beginning levels up through the intermediate level. Club provides ice for competitive training and assistancefor skaters to compete at the Regional level. It is also a great bunch of people. The coaches, parents, and skaters enjoy the challenge and comradeship of skating practices, testing events, exhibitions, and (of course) competitions. Skating is a wholesome and character-building activity, as anyone in the sport will quickly tell you. Our club relies solely on fund raising and donations to make possible some of the best training and environment for the New Mexico skater.
