Don't be a pumpkin, come to the ice show!!The GCCC Arena is set to have a Halloween Ice Skating Show on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 6:00pm. Come join in the ghoulish fun, our own "Halloween on Ice" spectacular!

Signing up

Desert Ice Figure Skating Club is pleased to offer dedicated ice sessions. We will be using forms to track participation and optimize our resources. Skaters may use the on-line form below or manually submit a paper version of the form available by clicking here (NOT YET AVAILABLE).

Notes:

• Schedules need to be turned in prior to the skaters first session on the calendar
• Those who do not turn in a schedule will be charged for Option #1
• If you have any questions feel free to contact any DIFSC Board Members or Megan Edwards.

Desert Ice Figure Skating Club wishes warm congratulations to its skaters just back from a week of exciting ice at the Colorado Springs Invitation (CSI) competition. Desert Ice held its own against some of the best competition in the Southwestern United States. In some events, four of the top ten competitors were New Mexico figure skaters, three of the four being from Desert Ice FSC. This is a testimony to the dedication and teamwork of the skaters, coaches, and parents, we salute you!!

( testing forms can be downloaded here )Desert Ice FSC is pleased to announce the next test session is planned at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center on Saturday Sept. 26th. We hope to start the test at 6:30 or 7:00am (with the 30 min. additional warm up session). Please apply soon as the testing time is limited. We have three Gold Judges, so we would like to encourage high level tests to participate if they are ready. Application deadline is Wednesday Sept. 16th.

Desert Ice is pleased to announce an exhibition event for its Colorado Spring Invitational (CSI) competitors. The exhibition will be at the Geneoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC) Friday, August 28, 2009 from 7:15 - 8:45. The cost will be $10 for each full ice event and $5 for each half ice event.

If you are participating, please contact Darcy ASAP with the events you would like your skater to perform so we can complete the schedule. At this point, we expect to be able to accommodate at least 2 events per skater. When you sign up, please indicate all of the events you would like to perform for the exhibition and we'll schedule as many as time permits!

Attention All Figure Skaters!!

Desert Ice Figure Skating Club is pleased to announce a Meet & Greet being held Saturday, August 15th from 6:15-7:15pm. Figure Skaters of all ages and levels are encouraged to come! There will be games and music and time to make new friends! Please bring a Dozen cookies to share!

Please find the new membership handbook by clicking here (you must login to see this page!). Some of you may have already seen this by email.
To complete your membership you will need to print pages 9-12 and mail them along with payment to the address listed on page 9.
If your skating is planning on competing at CSI or testing soon you need to get the membership to the club as soon as possible.
